2. USES

Bonds many materials together including concrete, stone, brick, wood, roof tiles, ceramic tiles and metal, OSB, drywall, subfloor and construction joints.

ATTENTION: WEAR GLOVES, SAFETY GLASSES and PROTECTIVE CLOTHING!

PROCEDURES
Adhesive should be applied when surface and air temperatures are between 4 °C (40 °F) and 43 °C (110 °F).

Surface Preparation: Surface must be clean, dry and free from all contaminants that may interfere with bonding.

NOTE: Do not use around fresh silicone sealants.

Placing: Cut tube nozzle to desired bead width and squeeze on to surface to be bonded.

5. YIELD

300 mL (10.1 oz) tube fills a space approximately 6 mm (1/4”) x 6 mm (1/4”) x 9.7 m (32’).

6. CURING

Adhesive sets firmly in 1 to 2 hours and fully cures in 48 hours.

7. CLEAN UP

Clean with a solvent-based cleaner before sealant has cured. Cured material must be removed by mechanical means.

8. STORAGE & SHELF LIFE

Shelf life is 12 months prior to opening. Best when used within 24 hours of opening cartridge. Protect from freezing.

9. SAFETY PROCEDURES

FUMES MAY BE HARMFUL. Do not breathe fumes. Use only in a well ventilated areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. COMBUSTIBLE. KEEP AWAY FROM OPEN FLAME. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

FIRST AID TREATMENT: Contains petroleum distillates. If swallowed, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor immediately. If on skin wipe away immediately. If hardened, do not peel. If breathed in, move person to fresh air. For emergency information call CHEMTREC at 800-424-9300.

Inhalation
Move to fresh air. Get medical advice or attention if you feel unwell.

Skin Contact
Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. Take off contaminated clothing, shoes and leather goods (e.g. watchbands, belts). Thoroughly clean clothing, shoes and leather goods before reuse or dispose of safely. If skin irritation or a rash occurs, get medical advice or attention.

Eye Contact
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Call physician immediately.

SECTION 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal Precautions, Protective Equipment, and Emergency Procedures
Increase ventilation to area or move leaking container to a well-ventilated and secure area. Use the personal protective equipment recommended in Section 8 of this safety data sheet. Warning! A motor could be an ignition source and could cause flammable gases or vapours in the spill area to burn or explode.

Environmental Precautions
Avoid release to the environment.

Methods and Materials for Containment and Cleaning Up
Pour isocyanate decontaminant solution (90% water, 8% concentrated ammonia, 2% detergent) on spill and allow to react for 10 minutes. Or pour water on spill and allow to react for more than 30 minutes. Collect as much of the spilled material as possible. Cover with absorbent material. Working from around the edges of the spill inward, cover with bentonite, vermiculite, or commercially avalaible inorganic absorbent material. Mix in sufficient absorbent until it appears dry. Remember, adding an absorbent material does not remove a physical, health, or environmental hazard. Place in a container approved for transportation by appropriate authorities, but do not seal the container for 48 hours to avoid pressure build-up. Clean up residue. Dispose of collected material as soon as possible.

SECTION 7: HANDLING AND STORAGE

Precautions for Safe Handling
Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Only use where there is adequate ventilation. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Do not breathe in this product. Do not breathe mists. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Wash hands thoroughly after handling this material. Thoroughly clean clothing, shoes and leather goods before reuse or dispose of safely. Do not take contaminated clothing home. Wear personal protective equipment to avoid direct contact with this chemical.

Conditions for Safe Storage
Keep in a tightly closed container. Prevent contamination with water and air. If contamination is suspected, do not reseal container. Keep cool. Store away from amines.

Use of an approved respirator, based on a risk assessment is necessary. Respiratory protection should be selected based on the known or anticipated levels of exposure, and the work being performed. If a respirator is needed, use respirators as part of a full respiratory protection program. Half facepiece or full facepiece air purifying respirator suitable for organic vapours and particulates is recommended to reduce inhalation exposure.

Disposal Methods

Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local, regional, national and international regulations. Dispose of completely cured (or polymerized) material in a permitted industrial waste facility. As a disposal alternative, incinerate uncured product in a permitted waste incineration facility. Proper destruction may require the use of additional fuel during incineration processes. Empty drums/barrels/containers used for transporting and handling hazardous chemicals (chemical substances/mixtures/preparations classified as Hazardous as per applicable regulations) shall be considered, stored, treated & disposed of as hazardous wastes unless otherwise defined by applicable waste regulations. Consult with the respective regulating authorities to determine the available treatment and disposal facilities.
