• Exceptionally strong and hard once cured
• Solvent-free with no volatile components
• Will not shrink upon curing
• Ready-to-use

2. USES

• Anchoring and bonding applications

3. PROCEDURES

Surface Preparation:

  1. To achieve optimum performance, surfaces and hole should be dust-free and cleaned of all surface contaminants, such as grease, oil, water or dirt.
  2. Scuffing, wire brushing or sanding the surface prior to cleaning helps insure a good bond. Care should be taken to remove all loose debris from the drilled hole using a suitable blower or vacuum before applying.

Application:

  1. For best results, use a caulking gun with a minimum 12:1 mechanical power. Inexpensive guns will not push the material through the nozzle.
  2. Load the cartridge assembly into a caulking gun.
  3. Unscrew the cartridge cap and remove the nozzle plug.
  4. Attach the static mixer nozzle. Dispense mixed paste to waste until an uniform colour is achieved (at least 5 mL) and then directly onto the work surface or into the pre-cleaned hole.
  5. When filling holes, start from the back; be careful not to leave any air pockets or voids while filling. Use the mixed paste within 20 minutes or insert the bolt into the filled hole within 5 minutes of application.

4. CURING

  1. Cure time to ultimate strength is 10 hours at 24°C (75°F) and 8 hours at 43°C (110°F).
  2. Actual cure time is affected by temperature and product amount used: higher temperatures and larger volumes of material used cure faster.

This product contains crystalline silica (quartz sand). IARC has classified crystalline silica as a Group 1 carcinogen. Both IARC and NTP consider silica as a known human carcinogen. Evidence is based on the chronic and long-term exposure workers have had to respirable crystalline silica dust particles. Because this product is in liquid or paste form, it does not pose a dust hazard: therefore, this classification is not relevant. (Note: Sanding of this product will create a possible silica dust hazard).

This product contains titanium dioxide which IARC has classified as a Group 2B carcinogen (possibly carcinogenic to humans). Both IARC and NTP consider silica as a known human carcinogen. Evidence is based on sufficient animal testing as a result as a result of long-term inhalation at high concentrations of respirable amounts of titanium dioxide. Because this product is in liquid or paste form, it does not pose a dust hazard: therefore, this classification is not relevant. (Note: Sanding of this product will create a possible dust hazard).
