King Truck Centre Announces Organizational Update
After nearly 30 years with King Paving & Construction, Jim Whelan has decided to retire on April 28, 2017. During his tenure, Jim has been instrumental in helping the company to coordinate the truck fleet to meet the needs of the construction division. With the growth of the company and changing needs of our business, this has been a task that Jim has filled with professionalism and expertise.
As we make this transition, King Paving & Construction Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Damien Bertozzi to the position of Trucking Foreman, effective March 20, 2017. Damien worked for KING as a Truck Driver from 2009 until 2012. At that time, Damien purchased his own truck and continued working for us as an Owner/Operator. With his past experience and enthusiasm, he will be a valuable addition to the team.
It is the company’s pleasure to also announce the appointment of Krista Little to the position of Quality Control Technician at the Asphalt Plant, effective March 20th, 2017. Krista has been working at the Asphalt Plant in a co-op position for the last two construction seasons, while completing her Engineering Technology Advanced Diploma program at Mohawk College.
