After nearly 17 years with KPM Industries Ltd., Janice Dunlop has decided to retire on January 27, 2017. During that time, she has been instrumental in helping the company to administer and collect more than a billion dollars of Accounts Receivable, while at the same time achieving an outstanding track record of minimal bad debt losses. As the transition takes place, the company is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Sabatino to the role of Credit Manager, effective Monday, November 21, 2016.
Nick has over 25 years’ diverse experience in credit. He has dealt with business transactions in Canada, and internationally in the steel and construction industries, as well as in financial and IT sectors. Most recently, Nick led the credit department at Laurel Steel and was responsible for collections, cash application, and managing the full-cycle credit function. He has a Business Diploma from Mohawk College, as well as a Certified Credit Professional Designation, and is an active member of the Credit Institute of Canada.
Nick will be responsible for the company’s credit and collections function including application of credit policy, as well as managing credit risk and collections with the overall goal of optimizing the mix of increasing sales while minimizing bad debt losses.
