Controller Changes for King Packaged Materials Company

After thirteen years of service, Dave Hancock, Controller with King Packaged Materials Company, has decided to retire. Dave began as Controller with King Packaged Materials Company in January of 2001. Since that time, the company has grown substantially, more than doubling in revenue. Dave has played a significant role through his help in building and maintaining reliable accounting and reporting systems. The company is recognized by peers for having strong management systems and this is in no small part a result of the efforts of Dave and his team. The company would like to thank Dave and congratulate him on his success. He will be remembered for his friendly support by our plant personnel, and especially his staff.

At the same time, the company is pleased to announce that effective August 1, 2014, Kelly Broz will become the new Controller for King Packaged Materials Company. Since joining King in October of 2009, Kelly has done an excellent job maintaining costing and inventory systems. In her current position as Assistant Controller, she has been a strong right-hand to Dave and has contributed in all areas of accounting. Most recently, Kelly played a key role on the Macola ES Steering Committee, contributing greatly to the successful conversion of our enterprise system. Kelly is a graduate of McMaster University with an honours degree in Economics, and she has a CPA, CGA accounting designation. Prior to joining King, she worked with other manufacturing companies, gaining valuable experience which will be beneficial to her in her new role.
