King Packaged Materials Company Promotes R&D Engineer to Senior Engineer

King Packaged Materials Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicolas Ginouse to the position of Senior Engineer. Nicolas received his degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Art et Métiers Paristech (Paris, France) in 2010, and his Master’s degree (MSc.) in Civil Engineering in 2013 from Laval University. He also completed his Ph.D. at Laval University in November 2014. In 2012, Nicolas joined our company as a work term student through a fellowship, industrial, work term program (BMP Innovation), which allowed him to pursue his Doctorate in an industrial environment. He began working full-time with King Packaged Materials Company in May 2014.

As Research & Development Engineer, Nicolas has played a key role in developing new, innovative products, and has provided top-notch technical support both on-site and in our own production facilities. Nicolas joined the Engineering Services Team in May 2017 and has been instrumental in developing some key, new products for KING, including but not limited to; Nordic (grout for sub-zero conditions), MS-W1 UG (wet-mix shotcrete for underground applications) and FS-T3 (ultra-high performance shotcrete for underground applications). Nicolas also serves as a member of ACI Committees 239 (Ultra-High-Performance Concrete) and 506 (Shotcreting). In his new role, Nicolas will be responsible for all engineering and technical activities of King Packaged Materials Company at our Boisbriand production facility.
